Fellows Program in Aging, Hearing, and Public Health

PURPOSE

The purpose of this one-week program is to provide an overview of public health concepts, methods, and strategies to assist clinicians and researchers who are pursuing public health research and projects focused on addressing hearing loss in older adults. Lectures and small group sessions will cover epidemiology, biostatistics, clinical trials, gerontology, intervention design, health policy/economics, and select clinical topics in otolaryngology, audiology, and geriatrics.

Our inaugural offering of this program, the East Asian Fellows Program in Aging, Hearing, and Public Health was held July 15 - 19, 2019 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.  We received an unprecedented 109 applications and accepted 30 program participants.

Thanks to the success of the East Asian Fellows Program, we will be hosting our Latin American Fellows Program in either late June or early July of 2020.  Please check back for program information updates and application details.
