Eric Du is a Master of Public Health student at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health concurrently completing medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, who aspires to become an academic otolaryngologist. Du is currently conducting translational research investigating genetics of hearing loss in Rick A. Friedman's lab at the University of California, San Diego. Du’s research interests include pathophysiology, impact, and interventions for hearing loss as well as otologic and neurotologic surgical outcomes.
