Sahar Assi graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 2022. She joined the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Epidemiology and is mentored by Nicholas Reed, AuD.  Assi is interested in studying the impact of hearing loss on healthcare outcomes in older adults, mainly focusing on the association of hearing loss and falls.
