Bio

Sarah Bessen, MD, MPH is a resident physician in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins. She graduated from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice with an MPH in 2017, and from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 2021. Bessen's research interests include the impact of hearing loss and hearing aid use on healthcare outcomes in older adults. She is currently completing a research training fellowship as part of the NIH-funded R25 grant, and is mentored by Nicholas Reed and Frank Lin.
