Alison Huang, MPH, is a PhD Candidate in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Department of Mental Health. She studies cognitive and mental health outcomes associated with hearing and vision impairment in older adults. She recently received a F31 Predoctoral Fellowship from NIH/NIA for her training and dissertation research on the impact of concurrent hearing and vision impairment on risk for dementia and social isolation in older adults. Prior to coming to John Hopkins, she worked for several years in social and behavioral contract research. She currently holds an MPH and a Certificate in Survey Methodology. She is co-advised by George Rebok, PhD and Jennifer Deal, PhD.
