Bio

Jason R. Smith earned a Master of Science degree in 2022 via the aging track of the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He previously worked for several years with the NeuroValue Lab in the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital, where his team encouraged him to pursue his interests in epidemiologic research to improve the health of older adults.

He currently studies the contribution of multiple sensory impairments and vascular risk factors to cognitive aging and dementia. He is mentored by Jennifer Deal.
