Adele Goman, PhD

Bio

Adele Goman, PhD is an Associate Faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health, and Lecturer (i.e., Assistant Professor) at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, UK. She holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of York, UK and completed postdoctoral training in epidemiology and clinical trials at Johns Hopkins University. Goman has worked on the ACHIEVE trial since 2015. Her current research focuses on the individual and societal impact of hearing loss, the impact of hearing loss interventions on health and wellbeing and addressing barriers and inequalities in hearing care and hearing technology utilization.
