Christine Mitchell, ScM

Bio

Christine Mitchell, ScM is a senior research associate in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she earned her master’s degree in 2009.  Her expertise is in project management of multicenter clinical research studies to ensure their successful conduct.  She has been involved in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of research including design and grant writing, implementation, data collection and cleaning, and data analysis and manuscript preparation.  Christine is project manager for the ACHIEVE study, a randomized trial testing whether hearing intervention can reduce the risk of cognitive decline in older adults.  Her prior research has focused on quality of life and developmental outcomes following pediatric cochlear implantation in the CDaCI Study.
