Diefei (Vicky) Chen is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Epidemiology in the Epidemiology of Aging track, while earning a degree in the concurrent Master of Health Sciences degree in Biostatistics. Her research focuses on unraveling biological underpinnings of Alzheimer's and related dementias using population and real-world data. In her doctoral thesis, she examines the roles of inflammatory mechanisms in accelerating cognitive decline and risk of dementias, and how they interact with Alzheimer's disease pathology.
