Sabina Haberlen

Bio

Sabina Haberlen, PhD, ScM, is an Associate Research Professor of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research applies epidemiologic and social science methodologies to improve health and psychosocial outcomes among people affected by HIV. Her areas of expertise include cardiometabolic comorbidities and HIV, integration of HIV care with chronic disease and sexual and reproductive health services, intersectional stigma, and healthy aging with HIV.

Haberlen is interested in interventions to reduce stigma associated with hearing loss and is collaborating with colleagues at the Cochlear Center to expand and tailor the Know Your Hearing Number campaign for use by local health departments and other partners.
