Clarice Myers, AuD is an faculty audiologist in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Division of Research at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. Her research interests include the correlation between hearing loss and cognitive decline as well as alternative methods of device delivery models in an inpatient setting. Myers received her clinical doctorate from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Mindy Dmuchowski

As Academic Program Administrator, Mindy Dmuchowski manages the day-to-day operations of the Cochlear Center and works closely with Center leadership on developing and planning all Center-initiated academic training programs/courses and other academic initiatives. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University.
Wuyang Zhang, MHS
Bio
Wuyang Zhang, MHS is a first-year PhD student at the Epidemiology Department of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He earned his Master of Health Science degree in Epidemiology at the Bloomberg School in May 2022 and worked as a Research Data Analyst before starting his doctoral work. Wuyang is currently advised by Cochlear Center core faculty member Pablo Martinez-Amezcua, MD, PhD.
Zhang's research interests include age-related hearing loss and other sensory loss, family caregiving, and social determinants of health.
Adele Goman, PhD
Bio
Adele Goman, PhD is an Associate Faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health, and Lecturer (i.e., Assistant Professor) at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, UK. She holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of York, UK and completed postdoctoral training in epidemiology and clinical trials at Johns Hopkins University. Goman has worked on the ACHIEVE trial since 2015.

Josef Coresh, MD, PhD, Professor Emeritus at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, is the founding director of the Optimal Aging Institute at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a Professor of Population Health and Medicine.
Moyses Szklo, MD, MPH

Moyses Szklo, MD, MPH, is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He received his medical degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and both his Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health degrees from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is a professor of Epidemiology and Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University, editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Epidemiology, and a visiting professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) Institute of Public Health.

Christine Mitchell, ScM is a senior research associate in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she earned her master’s degree in 2009. Josh Betz, MS
Bio
Josh Betz, MS, is biostatistician in the Johns Hopkins Biostatistics Consulting Center and is an assistant scientist in the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He obtained his MS in biostatistics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2012 and joined Johns Hopkins shortly afterwards. He has worked on epidemiological studies, clinical trials, software for data visualization and study design and providing statistical consulting to public health researchers.
Pablo Martinez Amezcua, MD, PhD, MHS

Pablo Martinez Amezcua, MD, PhD, MHS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology. He earned his medical degree at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City. He then completed his Master of Health Science degree and doctorate in epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
