Jalisa Bass

Bio

Jalisa Bass is a research program coordinator in the Department of Otolaryngology who primarily serves to assist the management of HEARS projects within the Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health. She obtained her BS in psychology from Kent State University in 2020 and is currently working towards her MA in nonprofit management at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.

Susan Richmond, AuD

Bio

Susan Richmond, AuD, is a clinical audiologist in Arizona, with over a decade in practice between private and government sectors. She is pursuing a Master of Public Health degree from the Bloomberg School with an interest in improving health equity and access to hearing care, particularly for older adults.

Jonathan J. Suen, AuD, PhD

Bio

Jonathan J. Suen, PhD, AuD, is a research associate at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine’s Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is an interdisciplinary audiologist and gerontologist interested in promoting hearing health, healthy aging, and health equity in older populations. He has additional interests in addressing loneliness, social connections, and public health strategies leveraging age-tech. 

Laura Sherry, AuD

Bio

Laura Sherry, AuD, is a research audiologist in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Division of Research at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine.

Jami Trumbo, MSPH

Bio

Jami Trumbo, MSPH is the research coordinator for the Baltimore HEARS study and future center research studies. She also partners with the Johns Hopkins Center for Teaching and Learning to develop online versions of the Center’s training programs.  Trumbo received her Master of Science in Public Health degree in health education and health communication from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Molly Sheehan

Bio

Molly Sheehan manages communications for the Johns Hopkins Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health. Her communications work has spanned pharmaceuticals, medicine, environmental conservation, and attraction marketing but it has all hinged around the same vital core of good storytelling.
